Science - Seas not mixing with each other
Modern science has discovered that in the places where two different seas meet, there is a barrier between them. This barrier separates the two seas so that each sea has its own temperature, salinity, and density. There are many examples around the world (e.g., Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea). Similarly, there is a barrier between sweet water rivers and salt water seas. The barrier performs its function despite of tides, storms, and waves.
Qur'an - Seas not mixing with each other
More than 1400 years ago, Qur'an informed us that Allah has placed a barrier between the seas and also between the fresh water and salt water!
وَهُوَ ٱلَّذِى مَرَجَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ هَـٰذَا عَذْبٌ فُرَاتٌ وَهَـٰذَا مِلْحٌ أُجَاجٌ وَجَعَلَ بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخًا وَحِجْرًا مَّحْجُورًا
And it is He who has released [simultaneously] the two seas,
one fresh and sweet and one salty and bitter,
and He placed between them a barrier and prohibiting partition. 25:53
بَيْنَهُمَا بَرْزَخٌ لَّا يَبْغِيَانِ مَرَجَ ٱلْبَحْرَيْنِ يَلْتَقِيَانِ
He released the two seas, meeting [side by side]; Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses. 55:19-20
