Science - Creation of humans from clay and water

The human body can be likened to an incredibly intricate machine, with numerous components operating in intricate relationships from the smallest molecular level to the larger scale. The composition of these building blocks, such as proteins and nucleic acids, is determined by the interplay and proportions of chemical elements.

Among these elements, some are more prevalent than others. Oxygen, hydrogen, nitrogen, carbon, calcium, and phosphorus make up a staggering 99% of the human body. The remaining 0.85% consists of sulfur, potassium, sodium, chlorine, and magnesium. All of these eleven elements are essential for our well-being.

The remaining 0.15% constitutes trace elements. Interestingly, the combined mass of these trace elements is still less than that of magnesium, the least abundant of the non-trace elements. Laboratory research suggests that around a dozen or so of these trace elements may be vital for sustaining life.

Remarkably, water accounts for up to 60% of the human adult body.

Qur'an - Creation of humans from clay and water

The Holy Qur'an, 1400 years ago, revealed an astounding truth about the composition of our bodies -

water and the elements found in soil!

It's truly awe-inspiring, considering that in ancient times, people were unaware of oxygen, hydrogen, carbon, and other elements. The Holy Qur'an, in special terms understandable to people of that era, refers to these elements as water and clay. Numerous verses delve into the elements and evolutionary stages of human creation, each offering additional insights and a unique timeline. Therefore, to fully comprehend this topic, a comprehensive study of all the related verses is necessary. “It is He Who has created man from water…” - 25:54

And it is God who has created all living creatures out of water;  and [He has willed that] among them are such as crawl on their bellies, and such as walk on two legs, and such as walk on four. God creates what He will: for, verily, God has the power to will anything 24:45

“Just ask their opinion: are they more difficult to create, or the (other) beings We have created? We created them out of a sticky clay!” - 37:11

“We created man from a extract of clay;” - 23:12
